Our Team

The Klamath County Community Emergency Response Team is more than just volunteers, we are a team.

 

Here in Klamath County, there are only so many first responders.  That is where the Klamath County CERT steps in, to aid the first responders, or to maintain the incident until the professionals arrive.  CERT, Community Emergency Repsonse Team, is a volunteer organization that teaches the general public about emergency and disaster preparedness.  The Klamath County CERT Team will have a deployable team that assists Emergency Services whenever needed. The Klamath County CERT is a team that will go the extra mile for training.  We hold classes to educate the general public.  We anticipate training with the Klamath County Sheriff's Dept, Klamath Falls Police Dept, Klamath County Fire District 1, US Forestry Service, Oregon State Police and so much more.

 

The Klamath County CERT will even have a Teen CERT Program where teens ages 14-18 will be trained in the same classes and exercises the CERT team will take.  Teens will be teamed up with members on the adult team for safety.~~ These Teen CERTs will be coming soon!
